Specific Responsive Plan (PPI) valid in France only
Specific Responsive Plan (PPI) is an emergency rescue procedure in case of a major risk for the protection of the public and the environment. The triggering of this plan begin with a national warning signal and ending with the end warning signal. Monthly signal test is done every 1st Wednesday of the month.
National warning signal
A rising and falling sound 3 times 1 minute 41s separated by a short silence
End warning signal
30 seconds continuous sound (On the Prefectoral order)
Monthly signal test
A rising and falling sound 1 time 1 minute 41s (1st cycle of the NATIONAL WARNING SIGNAL only)
